Cioccolato Espresso
Not thrilled with the service we received. Potentially this was just one of those mornings, however half of our table were able to order through the kitchen while the other half were told the kitchen was closed and were stuck with whatever was at the counter. When I told the staff that half the table had ordered through the kitchen I was just brushed off and told that only the food at the counter was available.This is not great especially when the table had been booked for breakfast.

Cioccolato Espresso
Had a delicious espresso sitting in the delightful al fresco area. Lovely atmosphere and decor, coffee was top quality. I didn't eat anything, disappointed a bit at limits of vegan and vegetarian options.

I had the espresso and was really happy with it. It's a beautiful coffee and a great atmosphere. The staff were pretty friendly too! Thanks guys!

Mocha was great but the mushroom stack ($24) was a huge disappointment. Instead of a trio of roasted mushrooms" it was more a "trio of salts" - it was very salty! Beside the salt

Most of the reviews are great, so I'm sure we just came on a bad day, but it wasn't a good experience. It was raining and our table I booked was outside. That's okay, we just went with it and it wasn't too bad. We were all ordering at the counter and then halfway through our table ordering, they announced the kitchen was closed as they were too busy and the rest of our table could only choose from the cabinet. Disappointing our whole table could not order from the menu. Then the meals came out at very different times. When my meal came, it looked lovely and was very tasty except my poached eggs were hard boiled and not nice at all. Like I said, I'm sure they were just having a bad day but just too many things went wrong.

May looks small from the outside but there’s a lovely tea room and space out the back. The food is ok, everything had a bit of a sweet taste for me which isn’t my thing but if you like that then you will probably like the dishes here. The drinks on the other hand are great, and the coffee is good too. Staff were good to us and helped us to put together a few tables - I think there’s better food in the village but it’s a great place to meet a mate for a coffee/drink!

It was one of those days where we would just pick a Cafe. And it was an excellent choice! We came about 30 minutes before they closed and ordered our almond cappuccinos. I was pleasantly surprised that while the barista was wrapping things out, she still made a delicious, chocolatey, cap! This Cafe is high on my ranking! The staff members were so friendly, too, even though they were keen to wrap things up. We love the ambient! The alleyway sitting areas with plenty of plants. Highly recommended and we'll be back!
