Okay pies for $5, and assorted cakes and slices for $3.50. The cream donut was good. Your classic bakery, and not overpriced :)Note: The potato top pie mince filling tasted like it was full of corn starch, it was so gloopy was almost like jelly!

I have been going to Kim's for along time and the food has always been great however I went there on Saturday the 12 of November at 12:20 and my partner purchased 3 large pies and 3 party pies and the party pies and one of the potato pies were still frozen in the middle and the other pies were like warm. However every other time food has been good. The review is based on my last visit. We did not go back in and ask for a refund as we were running behind on time.

Curry puff was yum and it's vego.The filling was just like a deep fried curry puff, lots a flavour and very moist... But it was huge and wrapped in the thinnest pastry shell I've ever seen. The thin pastry did mean there were a few cracks in the base, but despite that it held together well to the last bite.

Kim Bakery was recommended by a local. So, on the way through Pinjarra we dropped in. Value for money pies; my steak and kidney had huge chunks of each and the better half's chilli pie was deliciously mild to hot in pungency. Coffees were exellent. The staff were very friendly and actually served us at a table by the window. Something pleasantly surprising. The crockery was a bit weird, looked like water was left on the plates, but that was the design. There was a chip out of one plate if one was to nit-pick. We went back a couple of days later and picked up some cold pies to take home. The lovely lady put them in a box and actually wrote the name of each pie on a cellophane cover for us. Above and beyonding!

Drinks were pretty good, service was great, food was definitely the factor that brought it down. They had an elaborate menu and I'd recommend it for a snack and maybe breakfast.

One of the reasons I have bought a property in the hills of North Dandalup is to be close to Kim Bakery Cafe for its wonderful selection of the best pies I have had in Australia and I have travelled extensively.

Pinjarra Bakery has got nothing but extra high pricing compared to Kim Bakery Best pies in the State good service and great coffee and cakes..
